About the Event
We are super excited to invite you to this special event happening Saturday, September 23rd in Woodhaven.
Riparian ReAnimation is a family friendly, interactive presentation of giant puppets representing plants and animals indigenous to the Okanagan, with a special focus on riparian ecosystems.
We are honoured to collaborate with Elder Pamela Barnes, Jasmine Peone, the Riparian ReAnimation project (based at the Rotary Centre for the Arts) and our wonderful friends at Regional Parks to bring this to Woodhaven.
Presentation begins at 10:00am. We encourage you to walk or bike if possible as parking is quite limited, and bring a blanket if you wish to be seated while taking in the presentation. The entire event is outdoors.
Lastly, we are still looking for volunteers to help operate puppets. Please send us an email if you’re interested: friendsofwoodhaven@gmail.com.
