About the Event

We are very excited to have UBC MSc student Megan Buers coming to Woodhaven Nature Conservancy to talk about Western Screech Owls!  Megan is currently studying these adorable and charismatic little owls, which we are fortunate to have living in Woodhaven.  Megan will be sharing information about this endangered species as well as her current research, and sharing ways we can all contribute to Western Screech Owl conservation in our own yards.

This event will be held outside the little old cabin at the entrance of the park.  Seating will be picnic style, and we ask you to bring your own blanket or chair to sit on.  While this event is all-ages, the content might be more engaging for children aged 10 and up.  We would appreciate it if you could RSVP so that we know how many people to expect.
